Prerequisites
Ensure the following requirements are met before starting:
- Active GuideOps account.
- GuideOps browser extension installed.
Workflow Overview
The recording process consists of three simple phases:
- Initialization: Launching the extension and selecting your target tab.
- Recording: Sharing your screen and capturing the session.
- Finalization: Saving the recording and committing your project changes.
Step 1: Open the GuideOps Extension
Click the GuideOps icon located in your browser's toolbar to launch the tool.
Step 2: Select the Target Tab
In the "Chrome Tab" section of the extension interface, select the specific tab you wish to record.
Step 3: Start Screen Recording
Click the Share button to begin capturing your screen.
Step 4: Stop the Recording
Once your workflow is complete, click the Stop sharing button located in the top-center of the browser toolbar.
Step 5: Upload the Recording
Click the green checkmark button to upload your capture to the GuideOps platform.
Step 6: Save Your Changes
Click the Save icon in the top toolbar to store your progress and finalize your guide.
