These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the Services by any individual or legal entity (the “User”).
The T&C apply to the Web Platform, the Web Extension, and the Desktop Application, as well as to all of their features, interfaces, updates, enhancements, and associated content.
When the User subscribes to a subscription, a Premium offer, a paid option, or any additional service, pricing terms, special terms, or general terms of sale may also apply. In the event of a conflict, these specific documents shall prevail, particularly with regard to prices, payment terms, duration, renewal, termination, right of withdrawal, legal warranties, and consumer mediation.
The Terms of Use are available on the Web Platform and may be provided upon request by any appropriate means.
GuideOps offers tools for creating, editing, organizing, publishing, sharing, and exporting computer tutorials.
The Services may, in particular, enable:
The Services are offered on a free basis and, where applicable, as a Premium (paid) service, depending on the plan subscribed to by the User.
The Services are accessible to:
Access to certain features requires the creation of a user account. As such, the User agrees to provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information, to keep it up to date throughout the duration of use of the Services, and not to impersonate a third party.
The User is solely responsible for the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all activities carried out through their account, unless the Publisher is proven to be at fault. The User agrees to notify the Publisher immediately of any loss, compromise, fraudulent use, or suspicion of unauthorized access to their account.
The User shall not share their login credentials with unauthorized third parties, circumvent authentication measures, or create accounts using misleading information.
The User remains responsible for the provision, installation, compatibility, and maintenance of their equipment, internet connection, software environment, and, more generally, the technical requirements necessary to access the Services.
The Publisher may suspend or delete an account in the event of manifestly inaccurate information, fraudulent use, a violation of these Terms of Use, or a risk to the security of the Services, under the conditions set forth in Article 7.
The User may request the closure of their account from their personal account or by contacting customer service. The closure of the account does not automatically result in the termination of current subscriptions or financial commitments, which remain governed by the applicable special terms or pricing conditions.
The Services may include features based on artificial intelligence systems (the “AI Features”) that enable, among other things, the generation, rephrasing, summarization, structuring, titling, enrichment, or reorganization of tutorials, as well as the analysis of screenshots, recordings of user actions, and associated technical metadata.
The AI Features may be provided, in whole or in part, by third-party service providers selected by the Publisher.
The results produced by the AI Features are provided for assistance purposes only. They may contain errors, omissions, approximations, biases, hallucinations, inaccurate wording, or inappropriate content. The Publisher does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, relevance, or legal, technical, regulatory, or operational compliance of the generated results.
The User remains solely responsible for verifying, validating, modifying, publishing, exporting, sharing, and, more generally, using any content generated, assisted, or transformed using the AI Features.
The User declares that they possess all necessary rights, authorizations, and legal grounds to transmit to the Services, including the AI Features, any content, screenshot, data, instruction, document, or element they submit. In particular, it is the User’s responsibility to ensure that the screenshots and recordings made do not infringe upon third-party rights, confidentiality obligations, trade secrets, or rules applicable to personal data.
Unless otherwise notified to the User, content submitted by the User to third-party AI providers in connection with the provision of the Services is not used to train their general models.
The User agrees not to use the AI Features to generate, distribute, or automate content that is illegal, misleading, defamatory, discriminatory, malicious, infringing, invasive of privacy, or contrary to public order.
The Publisher is the owner or licensee of all rights relating to the Services and their components, including software, interfaces, architecture, databases, graphic elements, trademarks, logos, domain names, models, templates, documentation, texts, videos, visual elements, technologies, and know-how.
Subject to the rights expressly granted herein, no intellectual property rights are transferred to the User under the Terms of Use.
The User retains, under his or her own responsibility, all rights to the content that he or she uploads, creates, imports, saves, edits, generates on his or her own behalf, or distributes via the Services (the “User Content”).
In order to enable the provision, operation, and security of the Services, the User grants the Publisher, worldwide and for the period strictly necessary for the performance of the Services and the retention of backups, a non-exclusive, royalty-free license, transferable only to technical subcontractors and service providers involved in the operation of the Services, allowing for the hosting, reproduce, display, store, index, analyze, convert, technically adapt, back up, transmit, display, and use User Content solely for the purpose of:
The Publisher claims no ownership rights over User Content or over tutorials exported or generated on behalf of the User, subject to rights pertaining to the Services themselves, their software components, their interfaces, their templates, and pre-existing elements belonging to the Publisher or to third parties.
Any unauthorized reproduction, extraction, reuse, adaptation, distribution, decompilation, reverse engineering, commercialization, or exploitation of all or part of the Services, except as permitted by law or by the Publisher, is strictly prohibited.
The User is granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable right to use the Services solely for their authorized purposes.

The User remains solely responsible for all content that they upload, save, import, share, or publish via the Services.
The Publisher may, in the event of an obvious risk, a violation of these Terms of Use, an infringement of a third party’s rights, a legal obligation, or a threat to the security of the Services:
Unless there is an emergency, a security risk, a legal obligation, or the content in question is manifestly unlawful, the Publisher will endeavor to notify the User in advance and, where appropriate, allow the User to remedy the violation within a reasonable timeframe.

The Publisher takes reasonable measures to ensure the accessibility, security, and proper functioning of the Services. However, the Services are provided “as is” and subject to availability.
The Publisher does not guarantee that the Services will be available without interruption, free from bugs, errors, omissions, vulnerabilities, alterations, delays, or external events affecting third-party networks, infrastructure, hardware, software, browsers, operating systems, or services.
Maintenance, testing, updating, security, improvement, or upgrade operations may result in a temporary interruption or degradation of all or part of the Services, without this giving rise to any right to compensation unless expressly agreed otherwise or required by mandatory applicable law.
The Publisher is not liable for:
The Publisher is under no general obligation to monitor content transmitted or stored via the Services. It may, however, carry out any verification, removal, restriction, or precautionary measure required by law, by a competent authority, to protect the rights of third parties, or to ensure the security of the Services.
In the event that the Publisher is held liable due to content, conduct, or use attributable to a User, the User agrees to actively cooperate in the Publisher’s defense and to indemnify the Publisher against all damages, costs, judgments, costs, fees, and expenses incurred by the Publisher in this regard, unless the Publisher is at fault or a mandatory provision to the contrary applies.
Finally, the Publisher shall not be held liable for any failure to perform or delay in the performance of its obligations where such failure or delay results from a force majeure event or any cause reasonably beyond its control.
The Publisher processes personal data under the conditions described in its privacy policy
Privacy Policy, available on the Web Platform and provided upon request.
Within the scope of the Services, depending on the features used, the following data may be processed: identification data, login data, billing data, usage data, screenshots, records of user actions, technical metadata, as well as content and instructions submitted to the AI Features.
For the purposes of operating the Services, the Publisher may engage third-party technical service providers, hosting providers, infrastructure providers, analytics tools, support providers, and artificial intelligence providers. The Publisher selects these providers with a level of rigor appropriate to the nature of the processing entrusted to them.
Unless otherwise notified to the User, content submitted to third-party AI providers in connection with the provision of the Services is not used to train their general models.
When the User uses the Services to process data relating to third parties, it is the User’s responsibility to verify that they possess all the rights, authorizations, information, and legal bases necessary for such processing, as well as for the collection, recording, import, analysis, dissemination, or export of said data.
When the Business User entrusts the Publisher with personal data for which the Publisher acts as the data controller, the applicable data processing terms are specified in the data processing agreement where applicable or, failing that, in the applicable contractual documents.
The User is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials and the security of access to their account. They agree to implement reasonable security measures and to notify the Publisher immediately in the event of unauthorized or suspicious use.
The Services may contain hyperlinks, integrations, connectors, or redirects to third-party websites, applications, content, or services that are neither published nor controlled by the Publisher.
These elements are provided for the User’s convenience. The Publisher exercises no control over their availability, security, content, contractual terms, privacy policies, or practices, and assumes no responsibility for them.
Users who access a third-party service do so at their own risk and in accordance with the terms and conditions applicable to that third-party service.
Any inclusion of a link to the Web Platform or any use of the Publisher’s trademark, logo, or distinctive signs requires the Publisher’s prior written authorization, unless otherwise expressly agreed.
The Publisher may mention the name, trade name, trademarks, logos, or distinctive signs of a Professional User as a commercial reference only with the prior written consent of such User or under conditions expressly agreed upon by the parties.
No reference by name to a consumer may be made without their prior, specific, and informed written consent.

For Users acting as consumers, if a prior complaint cannot be resolved directly with the Publisher, the consumer may, free of charge, seek the assistance of a competent consumer mediator, whose contact information is as follows:

This consumer mediation clause does not apply to Users acting in their capacity as professional.
The Terms of Use are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute with a User acting in a professional capacity and in the absence of a prior amicable resolution within a reasonable timeframe, express jurisdiction is assigned to the courts within the jurisdiction of the Paris Court of Appeal, including in cases involving multiple defendants, third-party proceedings, summary proceedings, or emergency proceedings.
For Users acting as consumers, the applicable rules of jurisdiction are determined by the mandatory provisions in force.
Registration for the Services, the creation of an account, checking a box to accept the Terms, subscribing to an offer, or, more generally, the use of the Services constitutes full, complete, and unreserved acceptance of these Terms of Use.
The User acknowledges having read the Terms of Use prior to any use of the Services and being able to retain a permanent copy thereof.
